Won’t share older posts

    I have 30 blog posts and only 4 are recent (2023 and 2024). All the others are from 2018 and 2019. I cannot get those to be shared. I even tried to set the Min Post Age to 800 to see if it would pick just those older ones. It says Nothing to share.

    How can I get that working?

    Hi @twgerber,

    Thank you for using ROP!

    Please make sure you have checked the Share more than once option. By the time the plugin has shared all your posts, this feature allows you to share the older ones again. You can find it in the General Settings.

    Share more than once is already checked.

    Even when I first turn on “CLick to start sharing” any posts published in 2018 or 2019 DO NOT appear in the queue.

    If I do a Quick Update and change the year from 2018 to 2023 then the post will appear in the queue. Otherwise they do not show in the Queue AT ALL.

    A post will NOT appear in the queue if it’s dated 2018 or 2019. Not even once.

    Hi @twgerber,

    Is there any error in the sharing log? If yes, please share a screenshot.

    We are not aware of such an issue. However, you can try rolling back to the previous version and check if it helps. Here is a guide: https://docs.revive.social/article/458-if-new-version-doesnt-work.

    No error in the sharing log as the older blog posts don’t even get into the queue.

    Hi @twgerber,

    It would be great if you can try rolling back to the previous version by following this guide: https://docs.revive.social/article/458-if-new-version-doesnt-work.

    It will help us determine if the problem is with the latest version.
