Woo Commerce duplicating orders

    We have started getting duplicates of online orders. Not all orders but several in the last few days. They are consecutive numbers less than 1 minute apart. Users cannot pinpoint anything they did or messages or problems in the checkout process.

    Hi this is likely Sucuri causing this. I can see your A record is pointing through their server. Myself and others are all having the same issue and Sucuri or Godaddy WAF are the common link.

    Thank you for contacting WooCommerce support.

    I understand that you have started receiving duplicate online orders, with some appearing consecutively less than a minute apart.

    Please check if your site is using the Sucuri firewall (A record pointing to Sucuri), as we’ve seen similar cases where sites using Sucuri through GoDaddy experienced duplicate orders.

    If that is the case, I recommend temporarily pointing the A record back to the original server to see if this resolves the issue.

    Hi there!

    The A record (Address Record) is a type of DNS record that maps your domain name to an IP address, directing traffic to your website’s server.

    Since you’re using GoDaddy, I recommend reaching out to their support and asking if your site is being routed through Sucuri. They will guide you on pointing the A record to the original server if needed.
