Hi @characte,
I see that you mentioned in the other thread:
“I created an account and followed the advice above but have had no response.
Is this perhaps because I am using the free Woocommerce?”
Ideally, when creating the ticket with us, you would need to use the WooCommerce account that you used to checkout the Payfast Payment gateway from the WooCommerce Marketplace. However, if you’ve not received a response, kindly share with us the ticket number here for further checks.
Just to be sure, on your plugins page, who is listed as the plugin author for the PayFast plugin are you using? We can only offer support for PayFast Payment Gateway, and this will be done through the ticket.
Note that if you’re using a different PayFast plugin from a third-party developer, you will want to get in touch with the respective plugin author.
Hope this clarifies.
Thanks.

Please include a link to this forum thread, so that we can keep track of what's already been done.
We will be able to help you further there.

Hi @characte,
Sorry for the confusion here! Hopefully I can help clarify.
You do need to create an account on WooCommerce.com so that you can access support. But the good news is that you don’t need to buy anything for PayFast support, because the plugin is free.
039 doesn’t look match up with the ticket format for our system, so I don’t think the ticket ended up in the right place.
We definitely want to be sure you get the help you need as quickly as possible, so let’s give you a slightly different way to open a ticket
1. Please log in to your WooCommerce.com account and then go directly to this page: https://woocommerce.com/my-account/create-a-ticket/
2. Click on the Help With My Account option:

Enter your information there, along with a link to both this and your PayFast forum thread. Then submit the ticket, which should reach us with no issue. Don’t worry about the fact that it’s an Account question. The forum thread links will help us track the issue and be sure everything ends up in the right place.
We look forward to hearing from you on this!
Hi
I opened a ticket in the place following those instructions.
I am hoping for some help.
Hi @characte,
Thanks for letting us know! I checked our system and located your ticket. It looks like we sent you a response yesterday.
Please let us know if you received that response. If you didn’t, I will resend it. Otherwise, we’ll go ahead and close out this thread and continue to troubleshoot on the ticket 🙂
Hi
Thank you but I did not get a response. In desperation, I set up Ecwid today and it is working straight away.
So thank you all, please close the ticket and thank you for trying.
Hi @characte,
I’m so sorry to hear that you aren’t getting our responses. I found the other ticket you submitted and it looks like you didn’t receive that response either 🙁 I definitely recommend checking your spam folder and double checking that there are no typos in the email you set up for your account!
I’m glad to hear you found an alternative payment gateway that is working well for you 🙂 I’ll go ahead and close out this thread and your two tickets.
Best of luck with your store!
