    Qkay – I need help.

    1. Have followed all the setup directions (even have a staging website to double check plugin conflicts – staging area it DOES send me an email.) and I am NOT receiving a review for moderation email to admin.
    2. Upon submitting the review and the customer does not have an account, the “you must be logged in” message is not showing – the submit just goes to the top f the page.
    3. WHY, please tell me WHY isn’t ther the ability to have a “thank you for your review” and its in moderation message??

    Been working on this for 2 days. YOUR help will help. TIA

    Thanks for reaching out!

    Have followed all the setup directions (even have a staging website to double check plugin conflicts – staging area it DOES send me an email.) and I am NOT receiving a review for moderation email to admin.

    I understand that you are not receiving an email when a product review is due for approval, correct?

    I replicated the scenario on my personal site, however, I am unable to reproduce the issue on my end. As you can see on the screenshots below, the comment is waiting for approval and I can see as well that the email has been sent to the admin.

    I understand that you’ve performed the conflict test to verify the root cause of the issue here but to no avail. Can you please try again one more time to replicate the scenario on your site by following the steps below?

    If this resolves the issue, then it’s either your theme or a third-party plugin present on your site is causing the issue here. We can run a conflict test to verify this. I’d recommend cloning your site to a staging environment and performing the tests described on this guide without modifying your live site or impacting customers. Many hosts provide staging facilities, so it’s worth checking in with them. It’s also possible to do it using the free WP Staging plugin.

    If this was caused by a third-party plugin present on your site, it would be best to reach out to the developers for further assistance here.

    Otherwise, please provide the fatal error logs (if any) under WooCommerce > Status > Logs.

    Upon submitting the review and the customer does not have an account, the “you must be logged in” message is not showing – the submit just goes to the top f the page.

    I checked your site and would like to test this scenario, however, I am unable as I cannot see the area to leave a review on your Single Product Page.

    To better picture what you are referring to here, can you please share with us a clear screenshot of what you see on your end so that we could address you more effectively?

    WHY, please tell me WHY isn’t ther the ability to have a “thank you for your review” and its in moderation message??

    Out-of-the-box this could be done using a third-party plugin or a custom code. Since custom coding is outside our scope of support, I am leaving this thread open for a bit to see if anyone can chime in to help you out.

    For questions related to development and custom coding, your best bet is to ask on any of these channels for support. We’re lucky to have a great community of open-source developers for WooCommerce, and many of our developers hang out there, too.
