    I have custom theme. I have used the woocommerce 2.3.8 and added into the custom theme.

    I have created the Free shipping coupon code for the customer. Customer have only flat rate and other shipping method available. When free shipping coupon code is applied then free shipping coupon code is applied but also flat rate shipping method is also applied.

    I want to only used free shipping when free shipping coupon code is available.

    Please let me know.

    Free shipping coupons will ENABLE free shipping, but won’t DISABLE other methods.

    Hi,

    On my website, when I select a coupon to be used by the customers, I have an option to give free shipping with that coupon. But whenever I do that the free shipping never gets applied on the front end. It reduces the amount from the cart but it always adds the flat rate shipping. I am getting frustrated by this.

    Those coupons still require free shipping method to be enabled.

    Yes it is enabled when free shipping coupon code is enabled.

    At-least when we enabled the free shipping coupon code, then other shipping method available in the drop down list on the cart page i.e free shipping method and flat rate etc. So customer can select free shipping method. I have used role based method plugin for hiding shipping methods.
