You are offering plugin WooCommerce Analytics, but seems that this plugin does not work with Matomo Analytics for WordPress, but you are not stating it clearly on your product page.

    So..

Does WooCommerce Analytics work with Matomo Analytics for WordPress?

If yes, then how to get it to work?

If no, then why you are not stating it clearly on your product page?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hi @backpackstudio

The plugin woocommmerce analytics is only required for matomo on premise: the ecommerce features provided by this plugin are freely embedded in the matomo for wordpress plugin.
So if you use our matomo for wordpress plugin, you do not need anything additional to track your ecommerce data. You just need to enable the tracking ecommerce option from the menu Matomo Analytics > Settings.
    Does this answer your question?

    hi @backpackstudio

did you find the explanation for this timeout you get when doing the server side tracking?

    Hi @mattmary,

unfortunately you did not provide any information how you were able to produce any timeout. We are unable to repeat any timeout. There is no any logs on server about timeouts either. You did not provide even the URL of query and request type (POST, GET, etc). We are unable to guess about what timeout you are talking at all. This could happen on your side, not on server side.

    hi @backpackstudio

sorry if my answer was not clear.

The plugin in its ecommerce part execute some server side curl requests to track the ecommerce data.
Your system report shows in its log part that these curl requests failed with a timeout. It means there is something on your server which avoid these curl requests and so explain why you don’t have any ecommerce data.
It’s difficult to say why from my side. If you can find why these requests fails, you will have the explanation why you don’t get any ecommerce data.
    Kind regards
