Hi, I’m having a problem with WooCommerce Analytics, as I can’t get it to show past information.

I’ve already cleared the analytics cache from the tools, but when I want to Import historical data, it says “Something went wrong with the importation process”

Looking in the site inspector, I see that the URL /wp-json/wc-analytics/reports/import/status?_locale=user has a 403 Forbidden Error, could that be it?

    Can you help me?
In /wp-admin/admin.php?page=wc-reports I can see the correct information, but not in the analytics section

    Thank you very much

  • Hey @wpdesignuser ,

I’m sorry to hear you’re having trouble with WooCommerce Analytics, especially with importing historical data and encountering that 403 Forbidden error.

Looking in the site inspector, I see that the URL /wp-json/wc-analytics/reports/import/status?_locale=user has a 403 Forbidden Error, could that be it?

A 403 error usually means your server is denying access to a specific URL. To resolve this, please check the permissions for your WordPress directories and files. Typically, directories should be set to 755 and files to 644, with particular attention to your wp-config.php file.

If you’re using any security plugins, try temporarily deactivating them to see if that resolves the issue.

I’ve already cleared the analytics cache from the tools, but when I want to Import historical data, it says “Something went wrong with the importation process”

Since clearing the analytics cache didn’t help, WooCommerce uses Action Scheduler to handle background tasks, like importing data. If there are any pending or failed tasks, it could prevent the import from happening.

You can check this by going to WooCommerce > Status > Scheduled Actions and looking for any actions related to analytics import. If you see any pending or failed actions, try running them manually.

Furthermore, To help us get a better understanding of your setup, could you share your System Status Report? You can find it by going to WooCommerce > Status. From there, click Get system report, then Copy for support.

if there are any fatal error logs, please share them too. You can find those under WooCommerce > Status > Logs.

Once you’ve gathered that info, please paste it into a Code block in your reply or use pastebin.com to share the link with us.

Please check these steps and let us know if they help!

Hi Jonayed, thank you very much for the detailed answer.

Although it still shows the error when I access the Analytics settings, I see that it was imported correctly now (it must have been in some background process).

I think it can be closed for now, thank you very much!
