Woocommerce and blog posts

    I have a question regarding this plugin. A client uses a theme that is very customizable. However the current search bar only shows the Woocommerce items/product.

    Does this plugin also show the blog posts as well as the woocommerce products?

    Hope to read more on this matter.

    If you install Relevanssi, you still will only see products in the search results, because that limitation is coming from the theme. It’s very common in WooCommerce themes.

    There’s probably a &post_type=product in the end of the search results page URL. If you remove that, you should get all sorts of posts in the results. However, in many WooCommerce themes that also breaks the search results pages a bit, as their proper search results templates only trigger when the post type is set to product and the default search results template can be a bit plain.

    If the theme doesn’t support changing the post type limitation from the theme settings, with Relevanssi you can force it. This is described in Relevanssi WooCommerce manual.
