The WooCommerce mobile app allows you to compare your sales with the previous period only. We understand how useful it would be to compare sales with the same month in the previous year, especially for businesses with seasonal sales.
Unfortunately, this feature is not available in the mobile app at the moment. However, as you mentioned, it is indeed possible to do this comparison on the WordPress admin analytics page.
