Woocommerce cart widget – button changes

    I would like to make the following changes to the Woocommerce cart widget
    – change the color of the Cart and Checkout buttons on the woocommerce cart widget. They currently show as blue.
    – hide the images in the cart widget – i don’t have images on my products.
    I have looked at many posts and found suggested css code to make this change but nothing has worked for me so far for either of these changes.
    I am using the Vantage premium theme.
    I have tried using the Woocommerce Colors plugin and that did not work at all either.
    I have managed to change the button colors on all of the other Woocommerce pages, Add to Cart, Proceed to Checkout, but the cart widget is my problem.
    Any help would be greatly appreciated.
