    We are getting the following error for people trying to checkout as a guest: “An error occurred, please try again or try an alternate form of payment”

    We are using the authorize.net payment processor. If I’m logged in as the admin I can checkout no problem. I’ve tried several other options I found here on the forum and nothing worked including: turning off saving of CC data, displaying second address field, turning off plugins etc.

    Any help is appreciated.

    Found the error. We have the SiteGround Optimizer Plugin enabled and that appears to have been blocking something. After disabling that the checkout works fine.
