Hi,
can you please provide an example of a mp in a woocommerce page not working? Do you see any errors in the browser console and/or PHP error log?
best,
Robert
Hi,
Yes on my test site, this woocommerce page:
http://base1.golasvegasusa.com/product/mirage-resort-casino-2
just a basic map:
[mapsmarker mlat=”36.122197″ mlon=”-115.171625″]
and the map does not load, it loads ok in compatibility mode and also on standard posts and pages.
I’ve tested on other themes and other WordPress installs same results.
Best regards
John
Just to mention my site is currently set to the twentysixteen theme and here is a standard page with the map displaying:
http://base1.golasvegasusa.com/mytest
Here is the woocommerce page with the same map not displaying
http://base1.golasvegasusa.com/shop/hotels/the-strip/mirage-resort-casino-2
John
Hi,
what do you mean by “compatibility mode”? Changing the setting “where to include javascript files?” at Settings / Misc “/ Compatibility Settings”
to “header+inline javascript”? This is what I would ask you to check please, as changing this settings usually fixes those kind of issues.
best,
Robert
Hi,
Yes if I set
Settings / Misc / Compatibility Settings
to “header+inline javascript”
then the maps display.
I was trying to avoid having the javascript files load on all pages to avoid slowing the site down. Is this there anyway to avoid this?
Best regards
John
Unfortunately I do not see another way to get the free version running on your site without activating this compatibility setting.
Once our pro version Maps Marker Pro 4.0 is available, this might be an alternative for you, as this new major release has an optimized codebase (not related to the free version anymore), where also this compatibility setting is not needed anymore.
Ok, no problem I’ll try minimizing the effect with cloudflare and minify settings.
Regarding the upcoming Maps Marker Pro 4.0, would the personal license cover use on one commercial site?
Thanks
John
Hi John,
yes, a personal license covers the usage of Maps Marker Pro on one domain, there is no distinction between the commercial and private sites.
best,
Robert
