    Hello – Under WooCommerce-> Home I have (for the past few days) been seeing a banner stating that a WooCommerce Database update is required. But nothing happens when I click on the “Update WooCommerce Database” button.

    I would appreciate some suggestions as to what to do about this.

    I’m sorry to hear that you’re having issues with updating your WooCommerce database. Let’s work together to resolve this issue.

    Firstly, it’s important to ensure that your WordPress and WooCommerce versions are up-to-date. If you have any pending updates, please make sure to complete them.

    Also, we have seen some cases where deactivating and reactivating the WooCommerce plugin helped resolve this issue. Can you give this a try?

    If the issue remains even after deactivating and reactivating the plugin, it might be related to your theme. To check this, switch to the default Storefront theme and try to update the database again.

    If that doesn’t resolve the issue, please navigate to WooCommerce > Status > Tools and use the “Update database” tool to update your database to the latest version, and the notice should go away.
