WooCommerce doesn’t have a demo: if you’d like to test it, I recommend installing the latest version from here: https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/woocommerce/
Storefront is a theme for WooCommerce, you can find the latest version here:
https://ww.wp.xz.cn/themes/storefront/
You can install Storefront and test it – the latest version is up to date with WooCommerce and will work without issues.
I’m not sure where you found “Storefront Demo” – if you can share the link, I’ll be happy to take a look.

Storefront’s demo is indeed using an outdated version of WooCommerce although the underlying design/layout looks the same even when using the latest version of WooCommerce.
For a more recent WooCommerce version on another theme, have a look at https://blockshop.wp-theme.design/ (Product listing at: https://woocommerce.com/products/block-shop/)
