    Good morning

    I have recently taken over the position of running the website for the business I work for and the previous employee who had full control of our website didn’t leave me with any resources of how to maintain the website apart from adding new products for sale.

    Yesterday I ran updates on Word Press and some plug ins. I now cannot access anything within the account, Our store and products have disappeared and I cannot edit any pages or access anything without receiving an error. If anyone could please help me out that would be great as I’m desperate to get this fixed. Error code:

    Fatal error: Uncaught Error: Call to undefined function is_ajax() in /home/whole210/public_html/wp-content/plugins/woocommerce-extra-product-sorting-options/woocommerce-extra-product-sorting-options.php:89 Stack trace: #0 /home/whole210/public_html/wp-content/plugins/woocommerce-extra-product-sorting-options/woocommerce-extra-product-sorting-options.php(430): WC_Extra_Sorting_Options->__construct() #1 /home/whole210/public_html/wp-content/plugins/woocommerce-extra-product-sorting-options/woocommerce-extra-product-sorting-options.php(764): WC_Extra_Sorting_Options::instance() #2 /home/whole210/public_html/wp-includes/class-wp-hook.php(286): wc_extra_sorting_options(”) #3 /home/whole210/public_html/wp-includes/class-wp-hook.php(310): WP_Hook->apply_filters(NULL, Array) #4 /home/whole210/public_html/wp-includes/plugin.php(465): WP_Hook->do_action(Array) #5 /home/whole210/public_html/wp-settings.php(394): do_action(‘plugins_loaded’) #6 /home/whole210/public_html/wp-config.php(89): require_once(‘/home/whole210/…’) #7 /home/ in /home/whole210/public_html/wp-content/plugins/woocommerce-extra-product-sorting-options/woocommerce-extra-product-sorting-options.php on line 89

    Hey @z00m505,

    Thanks for getting in touch about our plugin. I’m sorry to hear about this issue.

    I suspect this is due to a theme or plugin conflict and the best way to regain access to your site is to connect via FTP to deactivate the plugin. The following guide does a great job at detailing the steps required to do just that:

    https://kinsta.com/knowledgebase/disable-wordpress-plugins/#how-to-disable-wordpress-plugins-via-ftp

    Once you’ve regained access, I would recommend installing a plugin like WP Staging if your host doesn’t already have a feature for creating a staging site. A staging site will allow you to rule out conflicts by fully deactivating all plugins and switching to the default Twenty Nineteen theme before activating WooCommerce and Extra Product Sorting Options.

    Feel free get in touch with us here if you need some help determining what is causing this conflict.

    Thanks,

    Tamara
