Hi,
In addition, after adding my FB pixel to your plugin, I tested the pixel using Facebook’s Event Manager live and found that the content ID’s do not match.
If I were to choose this option: Use Facebook for WooCommerce extension content_id logic, I get this error: https://prnt.sc/ti1sk8
If I were to choose the Use PixelYourSite content_id logic, I get this error: https://prnt.sc/ti1szd
If I were to remove my FB pixel from your plugin, then everything goes back to normal. https://prnt.sc/ti1td0
Could you please advise how do I fix this issue?
Thank you kindly.
Kind regards,
Joy
Hi Joy,
Sorry for the late reply. I’ll try to answer your questions:
1)
https://en-au.ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/woocommerce-google-analytics-integration/
If I were to install your plugin and remove the one above, will I lose any features, since your plugin has a free and paid version? Or it is completely safe to do so as your plugin provides the same functionality (and more)?
ANSWER: Unfortunately I can’t give you an answer to this question, because I am not very familiar with the other plugin. If you want, you can ask about speciffic features.
2)
I currently have a custom thank you page using another plugin here: https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/woo-thank-you-page-customizer/. Will your plugin still be able to capture events/conversions correctly?
ANSWER: Probably not, but it depends. If that plugin uses our dedicated filters to call the Purchase event, it will work. We usually recommend to use our Super Pack to manage custom thank you pages, but this is a payed option.
3. If I were to choose this option: Use Facebook for WooCommerce extension content_id logic, I get this error: https://prnt.sc/ti1sk8
If I were to choose the Use PixelYourSite content_id logic, I get this error: https://prnt.sc/ti1szd
ANSWER: this was fixed a few versions ago. However, it was not a real error, matching still worked.
