The plugin seems to have stopped working since woocommerce upgraded to version 2.5.5.

I have created a demo product and activated the use of the demo gateway. When I place an order and pay, the checkout page reloads prompting me to pay again while in the merchant dashboard(demo.pesapal.com) , it shows that a payment has been received.
In woocommerce orders section, it does not show that there is a new order.
Thanks Paul for your contribution. I did test the woocommerce plugin that you had modified and it works ok just with a few issues. However am encountering a similar error as above. After paying the order,it processes the payment then redirects me to the payment screen again. On pesapal merchant account, the payment has reflected.
In my case, yes the woocommerce shows it has a new order.

I think its an issue with the order being saved after payment. I’ll have a look at the Payment Processing part
Kindly confirm if the cart is emptied after the transaction
How do you confirm that it is emptied?
Ive submitted a new plugin to the WordPress repository and hopefully it will resolve this
