Woocommerce is slow

    Hi everyone,

    I have a woocommerce site that as of late has become really slow in the admin panel. It tends to be when going into my orders or when updating products. I tend to be getting around a 50sec load time which is painful when trying to process orders.

    I have updated all plugins and also updated PHP to 8.3. It seems to be returning wp_postmeta as being slow.

    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    I understand that the backend of your site is experiencing a slow load, more specifically when you are updating products or viewing orders, is this correct?

    For clarity, is it only the backend of the site that is experiencing this issue, or is the front end also producing a slow load?

    As a first step, can you please check that all the WooCommerce Server Recommendations and WordPress requirements are met at the moment?

    Additionally, can you work through the below support article and see if this makes any difference:

    We’d be happy to take a look at your System Status Report to see if we are able to identify anything that may be contributing to this issue.

    You can share a copy of your sites System Status Report by navigating to WooCommerce → Status. Select Get system report and then Copy for support.

    Lastly, please can you also share the following:

    • Fatal Error log: Share a copy of any fatal error log found under WooCommerce → Status → Logs.
    • Console errors: Please share any errors you may have identified when inspecting the console on the pages experiencing the slow load.
