• Hi,

    I received two times a email with subject “WooCommerce MailChimp subscription failed”.

    I can exactly check the times, because these correspondend with the order by the client, so I know about which orders we are talking.

    Why do I receive this email? I just created a staging site to see if it works with a test order, it worked perfectly.

    The message is:

    (-99) Could not connect (ERR 0: php_network_getaddresses: getaddrinfo failed: Name or service not known)

    That is what you SEE. Interesting though is when I copy that text, and paste it here, some URL of Mandrill is being added:

    This email is sent to the site admin when there is an error communicating with the MailChimp API. Can you check and see if the email address was added in MailChimp?

    Hi, yes, the emails were from the 15th and looking at the two orders we are talking about both email adresses are in the list with the date of the 22th. We are talking about january 2015 here.
