We have a GoDaddy E-Commerce Managed WordPress Hosting Plan, and it comes with premium WooCommerce extensions,

We have installed one premium extension however we keep getting prompted that there’s an update to the extension.

    Note:
    – We have installed a 2nd extension, and it’s the same issue wherein it prompts us there’s an update for the same version of the plugin.

    – This is only applicable for WooCommerce official extensions. Paid extensions from WooCommerce marketplace is not affected.

  • Hello,

Do you have W3 Total Cache installed by any chance? It could cause the issue sometimes. If you do, deactivating and reactivating the plugin could solve the issue.
If not, please contact us at WooCommerce.com > My Account > Support. Since it’s regarding our premium extensions, we can help you there. You may need to create an account before you can access that page. Also, include a link to this forum thread.

We have Hummingbird by WPMU DEV installed and running.

By deactivating. You mean, deactivating Hummingbird or the WooCommerce extension plugin?

    Additional note:
    – The update prompt behavior actually is an on and off thing. Sometimes it will appear that the WooCommerce extensions plugin needed to be updated. The next thing, it will disappear. It’s a very weird behavior.

    – Updating the extension will just say successful but after reloading the Update page. It will show up again requesting for update.

    Hi,

Ok, can you disable Hummingbird by WPMU DEV and enable again. Clearing browser cache could help too.

We’ve not heard back from you in a while, so I’m marking this thread as resolved. If you have further questions, please feel free to open a new topic.

Sorry for the late reply. We have moved away from GoDaddy Managed WordPress hosting and migrated to a new provider. The issue has been resolved since we just purchased WooCommerce Premium Subscriptions instead.
