Woocommerce Old Templates

    Hello, I am getting a warning like the one below. Will old templates be updated? My Version: 1.2.17

    Your theme (Kadence) contains old copies of some WooCommerce template files. These files may need to be updated to be compatible with the current version of WooCommerce. Here are some suggestions to fix this:

    I checked the WooCommerce status using the latest version of the Kadence Theme (v1.2.18)on my website and didn’t encounter any outdated template messages. Here’s a screencast for your reference: https://share.zight.com/P8uKAlG5

    Could you share a screenshot of the message you’re seeing? Also, are you using a child theme?

    Just to clarify, these messages usually relate to version numbers in the template files and shouldn’t affect any functionality.

    Hi, @yusufaydin !

    Thanks for the screenshots.

    The outdated templates are from your Kadence Child theme. I believe you added those template overrides to customize the templates.

    To mark them as updated, edit the templates and edit the comment line for the template version. That should make the WooCommerce not detect it as outdated.

    1. Edit the outdated PHP files of your child theme.
    2. Update the version number: https://share.zight.com/E0uNkeKw.
    3. Make sure to update anything in the template code as necessary. Refer to the WooCommerce plugin’s updated PHP files.

    While we’d love to help with your customizations, free support doesn’t include this service.

    As mentioned previously, you are using a child theme with template overrides. If you had a developer or someone set that up previously, reach out to them so they can help you do the updates I mentioned.
