MultiStep Checkout is currently support for WooCommerce German Market only. The reason is that with normal multi step checkout, Paymill is not able to retrieve wether it’s currently selected payment gateway or not. I’ll work on a better integration for that, but as it needs to be robust and save, you should disable multistep checkout until I’ve got that done.

i´ve the same problem! all other payment plugins works, except paymill! but i can´t disable multistep checkout because of german law and installing WooCommerce German Market would need many changes on my site.
Do you have now a solution for this issue?
(I´ve WP 4.1 and woocommerce 2.2.10)
