    Hello,

I installed the WooCommerce Payments extension and activated it, then I went to the plugin and it was showing “setup your account”, I clicked on it and it directed me to another page to sign up or something like that. Anyway, I wasn’t ready to sign up at that moment and I closed that tab, and I went back to the plugin, then I found that it shows a message “account restricted & Payments disabled”…I didn’t make any account! or provide any information!!, I just installed the plugin! After that, I deleted the plugin and installed it again but I still have the same message. How can I fix this issue?

  • Hi @tommy66,

As per the WooCommerce Payment policies, you are required to have a WordPress.com account to connect your site to the WooCommerce Payments servers. This official support document may help clarify things.

For further questions, please contact the WooCommerce support team at https://woocommerce.com/my-account/create-a-ticket/ referencing this topic link and they will be able to take a closer look at your WooCommerce Payments account and provide help.

I hope this helps! Good luck!

Hello @kaavyaiyer , thank you for your answer.

I have fixed the error by deactivating the Jetpack plugin, and clearing the browser cache.

I installed woocoomerce payments again, then it works correctly and I was able to complete setup.

    Kind regards
