    Hello,

    My website was having WooCommerce 2.5.5 with a customized code for payment gateway integration. It was working fine with no problems.

    Once I upgrade to WooCommerce 2.6, the code has been erased .

    Allow me please to inquire about the following:

    1- If I use child them, can the payment gateway integration code be erased once more? Or it will be permanent? Any references for this if it works?

    2- If I just restored an old backup with WooCommere 2.5.5 and force not to upgrade woocommerce, can this cause severe problems?

    3- Should I have to re-integrate API integration each time I upgrade WooCommerce?

    4- What do you suggest to integrate payment APIs with WooCommerce “rather than creating a plugin”?

    I’m a newbie, so, most of the following questions will be stupid to you.

    You need to create a plugin to keep your code safe from plugin and theme updates. If you need someone to do this, use jobs.wordpress.net
