[ Moderator note: moved to Fixing WordPress. ]

On the product page there is a button ‘Read More’. I want to change it to ‘Book Now’. I have changed the text in class-wc-product-simple.php but it doesn’t change on the site after clearing cache.

Any help on this would be greatly appreciated. TIA (Thanks In Advance)

Usually you should raise this issue with Woocommerce support

Also, a quick google search gives me this:

Yes I have done that. It changes nothing.

Can you describe exactly what you did? As that is the official way to change the buttons, you might have implemented something wrong, or there is another plugin causing conflict.

I added \:

add_filter( ‘woocommerce_product_single_add_to_cart_text’, ‘woo_custom_cart_button_text’ ); // 2.1 +

function woo_custom_cart_button_text() {

return __( ‘My Button Text’, ‘woocommerce’ );

}

To my theme functions.php. Replacing ‘My Button Text’ with ‘Book Now’

No change in the product page as you see here: http://ashawagh-hall.org/shop/
