The “To enable payments and transactions, WooCommerce is required. Eventin uses WooCommerce to handle bookings, payments, and order management.” notice at the top of admin pages is, stupidly and annoyingly, not dismissible.

    Hi @swinggraphics,

    Thank you for your message.

You have enabled WooCommerce in your payment settings (as shown here: https://prnt.sc/AR-4jzbrbU1h). However, since WooCommerce is not found on your site, the notice appears. To remove it, simply disable the payment option in Eventin. The notice is linked to the WooCommerce payment settings within Eventin.

As per your request, we will be implementing a dismiss button for the notice to make it easier to manage. The reason we have this notice is to ensure that users do not forget to enable WooCommerce, which can lead to issues when attempting to process payments.

We appreciate your understanding and will continue to improve the user experience.

    Best regards,

“You have enabled WooCommerce in your payment settings…”

    No, we have not.

    Hi @swinggraphics,

That’s unusual! Without enabling the WooCommerce payment option, this message normally wouldn’t show up. It could be something as simple as a cache issue. We’ll need to investigate further on your end to identify the cause.

Stop marking this Resolved without actually fixing it.

    Hi @swinggraphics,

Thanks for getting back to us, and I’m really sorry if it felt like we marked your case as resolved too early. In our previous reply, we shared the direction on how you can dismiss the notification from the top. Since we didn’t receive any response afterwards, we assumed the solution worked for you and that the issue was resolved.

To make things clearer, we’ve now prepared a short screen-recorded video showing the exact steps. After watching it, I’m confident this will help solve the issue on your end.

Also, as we mentioned earlier, we will be adding a proper notification dismiss option very soon, so please bear with us until the release.

We truly appreciate your patience and understanding, and we’re here if you need any further assistance.

    Best regards,
    M Mahbub

If anyone else has this problem, the solution is to enable the WooCommerce setting in EventIn, and then disable it. Must just be some sloppy programming under the hood. 🙄

    Hello @swinggraphics,

This has already been fixed, and we’ve added a cross dismiss button on the notification (please check the ref screenshot: https://prnt.sc/X8OZ9piOqSDE). Please update your plugin to the latest version and you’ll find the option to dismiss the notification.

    Best regards,
    M Mahbub
