Hi all. Please help with a question:
downloaded site from hosting to local (let it be test.site), for testing and modifications. deployed it on local. on existing site ( on working site on hosting, let it be production.site) appeared a message about enabling Safe Mode for woocommercе.
What option to choose (click the button) so that the working site (production.site) on hosting will not experience any changes in the work with the payment and continue to work with the payment as before everything? and the local site (test.site) to disable from all that is possible.
the documentation says about transfer and create new connection modes, but the description itself does not clearly explain the meaning in the words “current” and “other”. if the screenshot in the documentation shows test.mystore.com and mystore.com then why not specify this instead of the words “current” and “other”, so that there is no other interpretation of the meaning.
    Thanks for the answers

I understand the live website started throwing the mentioned error after cloning the site to a staging environment.

If the error is coming from Jetpack, I suggest disabling the plugin in the local staging environment. If that didn’t help, then please open a thread in the Jetpack forums: https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/plugin/jetpack/

and the local site (test.site) to disable from all that is possible.

Sorry, but I’m not sure if I’m getting the full picture here. Is this a WooCommerce documentation? If so, can you please share it with us along with some screenshots?

Feel free to use Snipboard to upload your screenshots.

Look forward to hearing back from you.

    Hello, @babylon1999

link to official Woocommerce documentation for Safe Mode:

    https://woocommerce.com/document/woocommerce-payments/testing-and-troubleshooting/safe-mode/#what-does-each-button-do

the issue was resolved, the Transfer your connection option was selected.

P.S. But the presentation of the documentation in my opinion does not look optimal in expressing a question about this issue

Glad to hear everything is working now, @moeclone!

Also, thank you for bringing this to our attention. I have reported the mentioned documentation to the relevant team, so they can see if there’s any room for improvement. 🙂

Since nothing else can be added here, I will go ahead and mark the thread as solved. Feel free to open a new one if you have any other questions.

    Cheers!
