Hello chapselle,
Thank you for contacting WooCommerce support.
I understand you are facing an issue where the shipping cost is not adjusting based on the zip code, even though everything appears to be set up correctly with shipping classes.
Since I can’t access the site, could you please record a video of the issue and share it with me?
You can use a tool like Awesomescreenshot.com to do this.
Additionally, please share screenshots of your Shipping Classes and Shipping Methods configuration for further review.
Looking forward to your response. 🙂
hi,
Thank you for responding. Here’s a Google Drive file with the media you requested : Drive
I hope you’ll find everything you need in it..
Hi @chapselle, thanks for the extra details! If I understand correctly, you’re expecting shipping for Class L products to be €77 in that particular France postcode, but instead it’s €70.
If I understood correctly, then the reason is because the whole of France is configured as your first Shipping Zone. It basically only asks “Is this address in France?” and for any address in France the answer will be “Yes!”. Because a match was found, it stops looking.
The solution: move your Zones Urbaines zone above the general France shipping zone. This way, it will first check if the address matches the more specific Zones Urbaines, by asking “Is this address in France and is it one of these specific postcodes?”. If yes, it assigns the €77 shipping. If not, it will continue to the general France zone.
Our Setting up Shipping Zones documentation explains in more detail, in particular, the Sorting Shipping Zones section talks about how the order of shipping zones works.
I hope that solves your challenge. Let us know how it turns out.
Wow… that was it ! Thank you so much !
