  • Hi @eframer

WooCommerce stats displays irregular numbers: A large number of orders are missing in the overview or in the stats by turnover or by orders. Only in the stats by products are the numbers correct (see print screens). Why is that and how can we solve that?

From what I understand, you’re experiencing some inconsistency in your WooCommerce stats, particularly with the number of orders and turnover being displayed. All the numbers seem to be correct only in the stats by products. I’m here to help you resolve this issue.

Firstly, let’s ensure that the system is set to pull data based on the date the order was created. To do this, please follow these steps:

    1. Go to your WooCommerce dashboard, then navigate to Analytics → Settings.
    2. Scroll down to the ‘Date type‘ option.
    3. Select ‘Date Created‘ from the dropdown menu.

Next, we’ll clear any existing data that might be causing a glitch:

    1. Navigate to WooCommerce > Status > Tools.
    2. Find the option called ‘Clear analytics cache.’
    3. Click on ‘Clear all.’

After you’ve cleared the analytics cache, it’s time to synchronize your old orders with the system:

    1. Still, in the Tools section, find and click on ‘Reimporting Historical Data.’

This process should ideally solve the problem and your stats should now display the correct numbers.

If these steps do not resolve your issue, could you please provide more details? Specifically, it would be helpful to know if there were any recent changes to your website, such as updates or new plugins. Also, please let us know if there’s a specific time frame for the missing orders, or if they’re missing randomly.

Additionally, sharing your site’s System Status report will give us a better understanding of your site’s setup and help us identify the problem. You can find it via WooCommerce > Status. Select Get system report and then Copy for support.

If there are any fatal error logs, please share those too. You can find them under WooCommerce > Status > Logs.

Once you’ve gathered this information, please paste it inside a Code block in your reply, or use https://pastebin.com to paste it and share the link with us.

Thanks for your patience and cooperation in this matter! We’re here to help you get this sorted.

    Hello Tamrat

Thank you very much for your help, we will try and let you know.

Just to make sure – the error in the stats:
<<All the numbers seem to be correct only in the stats by products. I’m here to help you resolve this issue.>>

Is it the other way around: the numbers in the stat by product are correct, the numbers in all the other stat categories are wrong or a lot of orders missing.

Should we still try your solution steps?

    Regards,
    Adrian

    Hi @eframer

Just to make sure – the error in the stats: Is it the other way around: the numbers in the stat by product are correct, the numbers in all the other stat categories are wrong or a lot of orders missing.

Should we still try your solution steps?

Thank you for getting back to us and for the clarification. Yes, you’re correct. I apologize for any confusion caused. It’s the stats by products that are correct, while the numbers in the other stat categories are showing inaccuracies or missing orders.

Yes, I would still recommend trying the solution steps that I’ve provided earlier. These steps are designed to reset and re-sync your WooCommerce analytics, which should help in resolving discrepancies across different stat categories.

Moreover, it’s also important to note that any changes or updates made to your website, including new plugins or themes, could potentially affect your WooCommerce stats. So, if you’ve made any recent changes, it would be helpful to know.

After you’ve tried the steps, please let us know if you’re still experiencing issues. If you are, please provide the additional information requested in my previous message so we can further investigate.

We’re here to help you resolve this issue. Thank you for your patience and cooperation.
