    If I choose not to renew subscription for the following plugin:
    WooCommerce Subscriptions

    Will the plugin continue to work (meaning will subscriptions from customers still continue)? As I find it quite expensive.

    Also, how many sites will I be able to install this plugin.

    If you choose not to renew your subscription for the WooCommerce Subscriptions plugin, it will continue to work on your site.

    That said, please keep in mind the following:

    • You will no longer receive plugin updates, including new features, bug fixes, and compatibility improvements.
    • You will lose access to official WooCommerce support.
    • Over time, as WooCommerce, WordPress, or your payment gateways are updated, your site may begin to experience compatibility or functionality issues.

    Regarding your second question, the standard license for WooCommerce Subscriptions covers one site per purchase. To use the plugin on multiple sites, a separate license is required for each one.

    Your concern about the cost is completely understandable. Many store owners carefully consider renewals. However, if your business depends on recurring payments and long-term reliability, keeping your subscription active is generally recommended to maintain full compatibility and access to support.

    I understand your concern about the cost of renewing WooCommerce Subscriptions and wanting to know what happens if you decide not to renew. I’m happy to clarify that for you.

    If you choose not to renew the plugin license, the plugin will continue to work, and existing customer subscriptions will still renew as expected. However, you’ll no longer receive plugin updates, security patches, or official support from WooCommerce. So while everything may continue to function for now, there’s a risk of compatibility issues in the future as WordPress and WooCommerce evolve.

    Regarding usage, the license only covers one live site. If you’d like to use the plugin on more than one site, a separate license would need to be purchased for each.
