Love the theme. I am trying to hook woocommerce into the theme and I can not figure out how to make it work. The product pages don’t follow the theme. Is this something you can add to the theme. I have made a child theme. I’ve tried creating a custom page and changing the loop and I’ve also tried using hooks. Any help would be really appreciated.

    BTW, the cite is http://www.centervillenoonoptimist.com.

  • The theme is not built with WooCommerce support in mind, but it should work. As far as I remember, WooCommerce will generate the necessary pages automatically and you can add in the loops using shortcodes.

This question falls outside of regular theme support since it’s really about WooCommerce so I’m marking it as “Resolved”. Feel free to continue discussing though.

I have been using Simone theme from Morten & his course at Lynda.com as main resources in my theme learning projects. My theme Pathivara is inspired by Simone but as part of my learning, I have modified its file structures significantly.

As suggested by Morten, I have successfully used WooCommerce support using WooCommerce documentation in my practice theme projects and is installed in my test site Pathiva-wc (still work in progress & in very early DRAFT stage).

My current working version of Pathivara theme (fully responsive but without woocommerce support) is being evaluated in my personal blog site Pauthake Blog.
