Hi there. A great plugin, like the Cloudflare Cache. Thank you in advance for the support.

The WooCommerce images are not respecting the cropping rules. You can view how it looks in the original, non-staging site (replace “staging” with “www” in the link). Thanks.

    Hi @thepopularizer,

Thank you for your feedback and for using Optimole.

I’ve checked your website and I noticed that images on your website are not served by Optimole and are redirected back to original resources. This is the reason images in the correct format are not shown.

First, I noticed that your staging domain was not whitelisted and after whitelisting it here – https://dashboard.optimole.com/whitelist I still see that images can’t be delivered but currently the response is different and it’s not about whitelisting: https://vertis.d.pr/cNzTmk

It could be that Optimole’s user-agent is blocked on your server.
This is the user agent to whitelist (please check with your hosting provider/server administrator about whitelisting it):
    User Agent: Optimole(1.0)

Let us know if images start being served after this is done.

Thank you. I forwarded this thread to my host’s support, and here’s their reply:

    `Hi there,

    Thanks for your eTicket.

I’ve had a look through your account’s logs and actually see Optimole hitting our service without issue:

    [Deleted for privacy]

I’ve checked and there are no blocks against that user agent nor their IP address as per the above log entry.

The ‘302’ status code as per their provided screenshot also indicates that they did successully reach the server to my understanding, as a 302 HTTP code indicates ‘Resource Found’:

    https://developer.mozilla.org/en-US/docs/Web/HTTP/Status/302

The HyperText Transfer Protocol (HTTP) 302 Found redirect status response code indicates that the resource requested has been temporarily moved to the URL given by the Location header.

I suspect that if you are having issues, there’s a chance that ModSecurity is involved as this is a security ‘Web Application Firewall’ (WAF) we have in place on our servers that can cause issues with specific actions that match potentially malicious action.

I’m seeing a huge number of ModSecurity blocks against a particular IPv6 address with the User-Agent listed as ‘mj12bot’:

    [Deleted for privacy]

Could you please review and let us know if this is related to the Optimole tool? If so we should be able to help whitelist this IP address against the ModSecurity rule it’s triggering for you.

Looking forward to hearing from you. :)`

    Hi @thepopularizer,

Thank you for checking this, we do not have an IP address to whitelist as IP address is dynamic and it’s not possible to whitelist even a range of them, that’s why the option to solve is to whitelist the user-agent.

I have just noticed when loading your website again that you’re using Cloudflare, could you please try whitelisting the user agent as per this guide: https://docs.optimole.com/article/1344-how-to-whitelist-optimole-user-agent-on-cloudflare in Cloudflare settings?

    Thanks!
