Same here. I’ve changed the size on both the Wootique theme options, the Woocommerce options and Settings>Media options (wordpress). I’ve installed the Regenerate Thumbnails plugin also, just as masonhoffman8 did.
I get the images to change ‘slightly’ but nothing according to the numbers i’m setting up…
Any ideas? I’d just like the Product Pages to display a nice big pic!!
thanks in advance.
ok, found an answer but it might not be what everyone is looking for.
I didn’t want a sidebar and so I tweaked the code so the main content would extend all the way to the right (well, i extended it around 800px).
I then found out that EACH PAGE/POST/PRODUCT has the option of changing the way the layout looks (at the very bottom). If you choose the layout with no sidebar, your Product Image will display bigger! (I played around with 3 settings; not sure which one it is but it worked).
1. So, go to Settings > Media and make your sizes bigger
2. Go to Wootique > Theme Options > Dynamic Images (also play around with this)
3. Go to WooCommerce > Settings > Catalogue – you will find at the very bottom “Image Options”. I found that these are ONLY TO CHANGE RESOLUTION, not size!
Sorry to leave poor instructions but at least you know where to look. Basically, getting rid of the sidebar through choosing the appropriate layout at the bottom of the posts/pages/products will enable you to display bigger sizes.
It looks to me like this is a column/grid sort of ‘problem’; but hey, what do I really know?
Well that’s solved that problem for me.
I had changed everything I could think of to 200 pixel wide as I had kept the sidebar but extended the main width to 690 resulting in 200 pixel wide images that were slightly fuzzy, viewing the image that was displayed it was still using the 150×150 image despite having regenerated the thumbnails. Thankfully, changing the settings in step 3 of your instructions then Regenerating the thumbnails cured the problem.
Thanks for the help.
