From Italy, we sold a cheese grater to Colombia. We had a special voltage installed to make it work. We shipped the goods with DHL and provided tracking for the appeal. We paid the customs fees ourselves because the customer couldn’t afford it. We gave the customer a form for collection by proxy so that DHL could give his father’s goods to his son. The processing time, obviously, was longer than expected. Not for your choice. However, the customer received the goods ordered on July 9th on August 19th, 2025. In the meantime, the customer filed an appeal on August 12th, and today, September 3rd, Woopayment has deducted €1,200. We earned €100, so we’re now losing €1,300…it’s not fair. They’re all good at acting like Amazon and using sellers’ pockets to show off to customers by refunding everything. What can I do?

  • Hi @robertads,

I understand how concerning this must be for you—especially after covering customs fees and ensuring the product reached the customer, only to face a chargeback that leaves you out of pocket. It’s clear you went above and beyond to complete this order, and I can see how frustrating this situation is.

Since this involves account-related and transaction appeal matters, the best step is to contact us directly so we can review the case in detail. Please visit https://woocommerce.com/my-account/contact-support/ while logged in to your WooCommerce account and start a chat session with us.
