Hi @guruweryn,
Thank you for reaching out. I understand that encountering an error while trying to perform any setup can be frustrating, especially in your case when configuring WooPayments for your business operations.
It looks like your response above is incomplete. Could you please share a screenshot of the error using snipboard.io so I can better understand what you’re seeing on your end?
That screenshot isn’t important. It is just screenshot of empty page with message:
Invalid request, please go back and try again.
Error Code: invalid_client
Error Message: The required “client_id” parameter is missing.
Hi @guruweryn,
Thank you for getting back and I really appreciate your cooperation. The screenshot is important as it helps us see exactly where the error is appearing and on which page. Kindly share a screenshot using snipboard.io, as it may also be needed if we have to escalate the issue internally or to the developers. Providing it upfront helps reduce back-and-forth.
Regarding the error you’ve mentioned, while waiting for the screenshot, it suggests there’s a communication issue between WooCommerce.com and WooPayments.
As a first step, I recommend trying the setup in incognito mode or clearing both your browser and site cache, then retrying the process. If the issue persists, please share the screenshot along with your system status report from WooCommerce > Status > Get Report > Copy for Support using Pastebin.
On this page https://snipboard.io/zX9RFO.jpg when I click “Connect” button I got this error: https://snipboard.io/LUA2pH.jpg In incognito mode has the same problem. As you can see on attached screenshot there is client_id parameter in URL but without any value (I think it should be client_id=some_identifier). Here is status report: https://pastebin.com/mGD6NN74
Hi @guruweryn,
Thank you for the update and for sharing the screenshots. I’ve escalated this internally and will follow up. Since this issue is specific to WooPayments, please create a new topic in the WooPayments forum here: https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/plugin/woocommerce-payments/. After creating it, share the link to that topic in this form so we can easily find it when providing further updates.
