Word Press slowed to a crawl around the new update and some 22 plugins were corrupted. Deactivated all Plugins and re-installed Word Press – problem resolved. Have All In One WP Security ready to Activate; should I activate first or wait until all Plugins are re-activated. Lost some confidence with the impact of this issue!!!
    Thanks, Nick Kile

    Hi,

Word Press slowed to a crawl around the new update and some 22 plugins were corrupted.

Which new update are you referring too?

Deactivated all Plugins and re-installed Word Press – problem resolved.

    That is good news.

Have All In One WP Security ready to Activate; should I activate first or wait until all Plugins are re-activated.

Wait until all plugins are reactivated. Make sure all plugins are up to date including your theme. And especially make sure all plugins are compatible with the WordPress version running in your site.

Lost some confidence with the impact of this issue!!!

I understand what you mean. There are many factors that play a part with issues like yours. 9 times out of 10 it is due to plugins/theme not been up to date with the WordPress version running in the site. Also, sometimes servers administrators might update something in the server that can cause issues in the site, however this is not that common.

Let me know if the above helps you.

    Thank you

Thanks for the consult much appreciated.
    To confirm:
    # WP 5.6-en_AU was the update.
    # Now WP, Themes and Plugins are all up-to-date
    Will re-activate Plugins.
