  • Try putting the firewall into learning mode and then letting cron run the command. That should whitelist the action going forward. Let us know if this helps.

    Thanks Tim,

    I’m still here 🙂

I set the firewall to learning mode a couple of days ago.

The cron command doesn’t get blocked.

I thought I had set the learning mode to end the following day but it was a week.
So I just changed it again to end tomorrow to see if it’s ok after that.

Is there no other way to whitelist things like this?

It seems like putting the firewall into learning mode effectively disables it?

    Hi @robwent

Normally, if you know the URL parameter that is needed to be whitelisted, you can manually whitelist it in (Wordfence > Firewall > Firewall Options > Whitelisted URLs).

However, in your case, I believe switching to Learning Mode then running your command and switch back to “Enabled and Protecting” should work.

    Thanks.

I think after learning mode it’s now working.

At least the cron emails just show php header information, no blocks 🙂

I think this can be marked as resolved.

    Thank you!
