When Wordfence is enabled, I am unable to attach lessons to a course. It just returns an empty page with the current date/time. I disable Wordfence to perform this action, but it might be something you’d like to take a look into.

@dchara01 Thanks for the report, however I’m not able to reproduce the issue. With Wordfence installed and enabled with a license, I’m able to launch the course builder for a course and create new lessons. I can also attach existing lessons to a course.

Could you confirm the steps you’re taking? If you’re able to record a short video of trying to attach a lesson to a course (using screencast.com or zight.com or a service of your choice) and sending the link, I can take a look. If you can also note any Wordfence settings you may have changed from the defaults, that could help us to try and reproduce.

@brianhogg It’s crazy but I cannot reproduce it either now.

I was splitting a course into two new courses and moving lessons between the old and the new ones. This is when I faced the issue. Then, I started disabling plugins one by one, until I isolated the issue to Wordfence (non-premium). I finished my work and then I enabled it again.

Now, I tried to do this again, with Wordfence enabled and it just works. I even restored the old deleted course that I splitted and and it works with that, too.

I will mark this as resolved. Sorry for the false report, I am unsure what it was that resulted in the failure, but now it does not fail.

@dchara01 No problem, thanks for confirming! It may have been an issue that was since resolved by Wordfence, or some other temporary issue. Glad it’s working now.
