I’m trying to add my website (https://titangroupnyc.com) to Wordfence Central, but I get this error message:

We’ve detected CloudFlare blocking our requests to your site. For help on resolving this issue, see our troubleshooting connection issues article here.

I followed the instructions from the linked article. I have Firewall rules and IP Access Rules to allow Wordfence Central IPs through Cloudflare, but I still am not able to continue setting up the website in Wordfence Central.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

  • Thanks for reaching out.

I can’t find the account for you in our system. Can you send an email to wftest [at] wordfence [dot] com with the email address you registered for the Wordfence Central account with? I’ll be able to see more detail that way.

Let me know once you have sent the email by responding here.

Thanks Tim, I sent you guys an email.

Check for an email response from me. I need the URL of the site you are trying to add. It’s not showing up on the connection issues tab.

Thanks for sending that in. I found that when I tried to visit the Rest API for your site (https://yoursite.com/wp-json/wordfence/v1/) I get a coming soon page (see screenshot I just sent you). The Rest API is how Wordfence Central connects to your site. Can you try adding our IPs to the allowlist in whatever plugin you have that is blocking it, or disable it, and then try the connection again?

    Wordfence Central IPs
    54.68.32.247
    44.235.211.232
    54.71.203.174

Ah, if that’s all it is, I’ll try again once the coming soon page is removed.

Thanks for helping me get to the bottom of this.
