We do have some customers with around 2,000 sites at the moment although generally most customers are much lower volume than that. There are currently some bulk actions that aren’t available that would be useful for higher volume use-cases. Our development team are aware of these but I thought it was worth mentioning as we can’t promise that they will be in place by a specific date or timeframe.
There aren’t any issues we’re aware of that may prevent you from using a single account, but it might be worth using separate accounts with a slightly smaller number of sites in each. For example, if you have different departments or categories of site, it may make them easier to manage overall.
I’d also recommend making sure in advance that each free site is definitely using a unique license key, to be sure that scans are not triggered all at once. This is also to prevent our servers from rate limiting your scans.

Peter, thanks for the insightful reply.
My team and I are very new to this and are wondering if you guys have any guides on a ‘cookiecutter’ settings template that we could test in our environment. We plan on testing this template on a batch of sites to start and then go from there.
