Hi @ten12design, sorry to see you’re having this issue.
Head over to Wordfence Central, go to the Connection Issues tab. Clear out any sites that might be in here.
Now head over to your site and log in as an admin. Navigate to Tools > Diagnostics > Other Tests > Clear all Wordfence Central connection data. Clear the connection data and then from the Wordfence Dashboard, click on “Connect this site” in the Wordfence Central widget.
https://www.wordfence.com/help/central/connect/#troubleshooting-connection-issues also has some troubleshooting steps you could follow.
If those approaches don’t work, drop me a diagnostic report from the site failing to connect to wftest @ wordfence . com. You can find the link to do so at the top of the Wordfence Tools > Diagnostics page. Then click on “Send Report by Email”. Please add your forum username where indicated and respond here after you have sent it.
Note: For the fastest response time, please make sure and add any information or questions directly to this topic and not the email address above unless asked.
Thanks,
Peter.

Hi there, having the same problem. Just to confirm – do you need premium before the connection will work?

Hi @lukenukum,
You do not need premium for the connection to work. If you have any further issues, please start a new topic as per the forum guidelines and highlight the circumstances of your issue and what you have already tried to resolve it.
We can better help our customers if topics concentrate on the specific issues for a single user just in case there are differences in the server setups or the solution required. We’ll always be glad to help you.
Thanks,
Peter.
Hi Peter, I sent my diagnostic report for aprilsoderstrom.com and the connection issue with Wordfence Central that I am having issues with. Thank you!!
Hi @ten12design, thanks for your diagnostic report.
Before we go any further, can I just confirm whether you have tried all of the methods highlighted above and on our troubleshooting guide? Are you seeing a different error message to the one you originally reported when trying to connect the site to Central from the site’s Wordfence dashboard directly rather than from the Central side?
I am not seeing inbound/outbound connectivity issues with your site in the diagnostic, which I would expect when a connection is not possible.
Have you also tried creating an admin account in WordPress with the same email that you have used to register the Wordfence Central account? If not, please do so and once you have the account, sign in as that admin and again try connecting from the Wordfence Central Status widget on the Wordfence Dashboard page.
Thanks,
Peter.
