I’m trying to cnnect to Wordfence Central and scan my site but I always get “We’ve detected Cloudflare blocking our requests to your site. For help on resolving this issue, see our troubleshooting connection issues article here 1.”

I’ve followed all the steps (even adding Wordfence IPs) but still getting that sign…

Hi @andrusito, thanks for reaching out!

Can I ask whether after allowing Wordfence Central’s IP in Cloudflare, you also cleared the “Connection Issues” tab in Central before trying a connection again rather than attempting to retry the previous failed attempt? If not, in Wordfence Central go to the Connection Issues tab. Clear out any sites that might be hanging around in there.

Now go back to your site and log in as an admin. Navigate to Tools > Diagnostics > Other Tests > Clear all Wordfence Central connection data. Clear the connection data and then from the Wordfence Dashboard, click on “Connect this site” in the Wordfence Central widget. Sometimes connecting from the site’s side once IPs have been allowed can succeed where the method from inside Central itself failed.

For quick reference, just in case you need to double-check, all of our IPs are listed here: https://www.wordfence.com/help/advanced/#servers-and-ip-addresses

    Thanks,
    Peter.

    Hi @andrusito,

If you send a diagnostic report over, you’ll not need to share your domain publicly but it’ll allow us to check connectivity and whether we have record of your specific Central account experiencing errors etc.

You can send one from the Wordfence > Tools > Diagnostics menu to us at wftest @ wordfence . com. Click on “Send Report by Email”. Please add your forum username where indicated and respond here after you have sent it.

NOTE: It should look as follows – Screenshot of Tools > Diagnostic > Send by Email

    Many thanks,
    Peter.
