WordFence & Divi Builder Firewall issues

    Hi, the Firewall is giving issues with the Divi visual builder. The page can load with divi, but once I click on the visual builder button, the page remains white and never loads the visual builder page.

    I have the same issue with the latest version of 7.8.0. and rolled back to the previous version of 7.7.1; this temporarily fixed the issue. The firewall was in the state of “Learning Mode”, and on some pages, the visual builder could load, and in other instances, the visual builder page never loaded. I ended up disabling the firewall, and once I had done that then, I was able to open the page in Divi visual builder. Please, I need this fixed, as it is quite frustrating.

    Please note that I have cleared the data and tables once I deactivated the 7.8.0 version in order to roll back to 7.7.1. as well as disabled the firewall extended protection.

    Hi @martmarie1,

    If Learning Mode didn’t work for 7.8.0, I would try navigating to the page that’s intermittedntly failing to load and when it does fail, immediately check your Live Traffic log.

    You should see a recent block reported at/near the top and be able to expand it by clicking on the entry itself. The reason for the block will be explained there in red text. Sometimes you are presented with an “ADD PARAM TO FIREWALL ALLOWLIST” button here that could solve the problem going forward. If not, please paste the block reason here so that I can try to advise you further.
