Hi @bytemojo
Please add the public IP address of your web server to all IP address allowlists in Cloudflare and try a scan again.
If you are not sure what to do then your hosting provider can help you.
Hi @wfphil , thanks for your answer.
I did, following https://www.wordfence.com/help/advanced/compatibility/#cloudflare-compatibility and did not work.
I since tried removing cloudflare out of this equation and, after NS propagation, all was good. I’ve added cloudflare again to check if everything’s working again. Will report after propagation.
And after propagation, Cloudflare is still challenging wordfence.
Here’s my WAF entries (removed the private IPs for privacy): https://i.imgur.com/Yez4hZ7.png
Can you tell me what am I doing wrong?

Hi @bytemojo
Thank you for the update.
Please check with your hosting provider that you are adding the correct public IP address or addresses that your web server uses to all Cloudflare allowlists and then ask Cloudflare support to check that you have set the IP allowlists correctly.
You can also enable the scan option in our plugin “Use only IPv4 to start scans” which can help with scans failing with Cloudflare.
@wfphil, thank you for your time
with the host, I’m sure of the IP (its a static public IP) used in several other sites I host.
I also posted on Clouflare’s forum, here » https://community.cloudflare.com/t/wordfence-being-challenged-by-cloudflare/600960/4
As for the “Use only IPv4 to start scans”, was off, turned it on, no change » https://i.imgur.com/ZhpRkWF.png

Hi @bytemojo
Thank you for the update.
I recommend that you speak to the Cloudflare support team to check the allowlists for you and not on a Cloudflare forum.
Yeah, that would be great, but I’m on a free license… I don’t believe that is even an option… 🙁
