    Hi, My wordfence scan is failing for 3 days. I tried setting and adjusting different parameters like max_execution_time and memory_limit with no luck. Please suggest how to fix the issue.

  • Hi vivekshingala,
    Your scan log says “Scanned contents of 43 additional files at 0.11 per second”. This means your site is reading and processing files very slowly. The “per second” value should be at least 3 or higher if your site was functioning normally.

    I would look out for general things that may be decreasing performance on your site such as

    * Upgrade your PHP version
    * Check to make sure you are not running out of disk space
    * Consult your web host and ask them why the file system is slow

    Hope that helps and best of luck for now!

    Just installed Wordfence and tried to scan my system and got the message: Scan failed. So i looked into the diagnostics and see wafrules.rules doesnt exists. What should i do?

    Best regards

    Michael
