Hi @gobosam, thanks for getting in touch.
This issue can crop up when a template setting that doesn’t hit Wordfence validation rules (such as 0 when minimum allowed value is 1) can cause this error message to appear. We are looking into a product update to provide better feedback, although it’s not necessarily the cause here.
So that I can compare the settings could you please send me a diagnostic report from the affected site to wftest @ wordfence . com? You can find the link to do so at the top of the Wordfence Tools > Diagnostics page. Then click on “Send Report by Email”. Please add your forum username where indicated and respond here after you have sent it.
Note: For the fastest response time, please make sure and add any information or questions directly to this topic and not the email address above unless asked.
Thanks,
Peter.`
Many thanks Peter,
I have sent the Diagnostics report as requested
Kind regards
Hi @gobosam,
I am just replying to state I’ve received your diagnostic and created a “V2” version of your template which I assigned to your sites, so don’t be alarmed to see that in your account. There are no significant changes over your previous template, I was using it for debugging purposes.
It is reporting the same “Template Modified, local changes” so the Central team are helping me take a look to see what setting(s) might be flagging an issue so I will get back to you as soon as I can.
Thanks,
Peter.
Thank you Peter. That seems to of done the trick
Thanks for your help
All the best
Hi @gobosam,
Glad to hear it. The sites were reporting in sync straight after the template was applied, but we wanted to make sure the same issue didn’t crop up again.
If you have any Wordfence questions in future, don’t hestitate to start a new topic and we’ll always be glad to help out!
Thanks again,
Peter.
