WordPress 2.5 Text Fix

I installed wordpress 2.5 with only one hick, it blew away my system. After I fixed that I didn’t have any problems except that anywhere an apostrophe or “‘” showed up it replaced it with a ton of weird characters.

ON ALL MY ENTRIES.

What do I do now? I can’t go through all my entries and fix that.
