• Hello,
I am running a fresh upgrade of WordPress 2.6.1 at http://www.preyra.ca. I continue to have problems with Permalinks. Pages that I can see when I do not enable permalinks become Error 404 pages when I enable permalinks. I have read over the appropriate documentation, deleted/rebuild the .htaccess, tried adding a prefix before a custom string, and changed my domain name from http://www.preyra.ca to http://preyra.ca twice. None of these tweaks have fixed my error.

Strangely, these two links work: http://www.preyra.ca/location/ and http://www.preyra.ca/photos. I also run a WordPress 2.2 site on the same server and the permalinks work perfectly. I am really running out of ideas and I would appreciate any suggestions.

    Server Specs:
    Apache version 1.3.41 (Unix)
    MySQL version 5.0.51a-community
    PHP version 5.2.5

    Best,
    Fenwick

  • Same exact issue here using Linux hosting. WordPress is in a subfolder called blog. I tried all documented changes and nothing worked. All pages go to 404 when any permalinks other than default are enabled.
