WordPress 2.7.1 very slow…

    I do not know if this is my host or if this is wordpress…

    host: easycgi.com
    blog: http://blog.daicast.com

    it takes so long for the server to respond… to load the blog homepage.

    I thought it was the server, but when pinging:

    Any help / suggestions would be appreciated.

    It took about 18 seconds to d/l and render on linux/FF3/via UMTS. Not stellar, but not atrocious either.

    Ping will just show how long it takes for ICMP packets to get back and forth, and your ping times are fine.

    You’ll need to do some testing on the server to determine where the performance hits are; usually, it’s PHP interpretation or waiting for results from a database query.

    I am having the same problem as your having with easycgi.

    I would like to know what did you do to solve your problem because I checked your website link and it opens alot faster than my website.
