Is it possible that registered members can also make posts from that admin bar?
Only if they could normally make posts, I believe.

well i tested it and i can only acces the dashboard and edit profile.
There is no option to make a post.
Tested it how?
I’m logged in as the admin on a WP install and I have all the options I should. If I log in as a subscriber, I only have dash and edit profile. This is expected behavior.
You have to log in AS an admin to get admin controls 🙂

That’s the point of my question, sorry for not being clear.
A registered member does not have admin rights on my blog.
so my question was if registered useres with no admin right can make a post with that admin bar.
I think its more of a request now, as we both now only admins have that option. 😉
So my reply of:
Only if they could normally make posts, I believe.
was what you needed 🙂
No, the admin bar does NOT grant you extra access. If you want someone to be able to make posts, you have to give them that ability IN GENERAL. It has nothing to do with the admin bar. Make ’em Authors or whatever you want.
This isn’t an admin bar question, it’s a ‘how do I let members make posts’ question.
Answer: Give them the role 🙂

They can make posts on my blog, all registered members have author roles. 😉
I thought it would be neat that all members could use the admin bar to make posts too.
But it seems only admins have that option.
I’m gonna bang around on this a while.
